PMI-ACP Exam Outline

The exam has 120 multiple-choice questions. Only 100 questions will be evaluated for scoring purpose. The remaining 20 are pre-test questions that will be randomly distributed in the question paper.
There are two main Content Areas in the Exam with each having a 50% weightage
  • Agile Tools and Techniques
  • Agile Knowledge and Skills
We will be covering all of the topics that comprise these two content areas in this series.
Agile Tools and Techniques (50% of the Exam) 
The ACP exam will test your knowledge of the Tools and Techniques that are used while managing Agile Projects that cover the following areas:
  • Communications
  • Planning
  • Monitoring & Adopting
  • Estimation
  • Analysis & Design (of Requirements)
  • Quality
  • Soft Skills
  • Value Based Prioritization
  • Risk Management
Agile Knowledge and Skills (50% of the Exam)
The ACP exam will also test your Agile Knowledge and Skills. These skills are categorized into 3 levels and each has a separate weightage among this 50%.
  • Level 1 – 65%
  • Level 2 – 25%
  • Level 3 – 10%
